Report of Day 1 of the CCGT Golf Challenge 2013 at Las Colinas

Following up from our overview of Day 1 of the 2013 CCGT Golf Challenge at Las Colinas here is more information from what we would call a fantastic start to this year's competition.

As always the magnificent Las Colinas Golf Resort staff were extremely welcoming and more than helpful throughout the day; whilst the course was in excellent condition.

High winds provided a stern challenge for all attendees and entrants early in the day as the event teed off at 09:00, however with the sun rising and getting warmer conditions were perfect for a great day of golf.

The winners on the day were;

First Place Overall - Ben Price with 34 points

First Place Lady - Shona Farnes with 20 points

Longest Drive Men's - Chris King

Longest Drive Lady - Shona Farnes

Nearest to Pin 1 Shot - Granville Price

Nearest to Pin 2 Shots - Chris King

Nearest to Pin 3 Shots - Doug Wilson

We're already looking forward to round 2 of the challenge which will take place on Monday 25th February at Altorreal Golf Course with a tee off time set at at 09:30am.
